New-ish Nature to You PDFs: Practical notes for home

This post is purely practical.  Click on the link or links that might help you most!

The first two files are updated versions of the most popular hand-outs in Nature to You classes.  The third file I referenced in All-Ages Gardening but was too large to e-mail easily.

Anna’s Easy Plant List updated 2022

The food, annual flowers, perennial flowers, and bigger things such as trees or shrubs listed here have survived nicely in my NW Tucson yard and patio with just a little effort.

Anna’s Go-To Local Gardening Resources

Nurseries, libraries, big-box stores, non-profits, and gardens too!  The current list contains 18 sources of materials and/or information that continue to guide my own gardening.

Composting: What Why Where How

Composting comes in many forms.  Worms are totally optional.  Here’s a PowerPoint presentation from a past Zoom gardening lesson.  It spells out composting basics and helps you decide which form to try.

I invite questions about and revisions to them all!  I hope you’ll add your own practical notes in the “comments”, e-mail me, or sign up for an upcoming class for a live conversation.
