Garden on the go with this sampler class about growing plants in jars, take-out trays, and other creative containers.  Read a beautiful book of gardens in unexpected places.  Create your own tiny green space to take with you!  Dress for the weather – this program may take place outside.

Saturday, May 10, 11:00-1:00. Quincie Douglas Library. FREE

Would you like to raise earthworms? Handle live red wrigglers, read cool worm stories, and come up with fun wormy words.  Then construct worm bins out of re-purposed materials.  Take worms home to care for and help your garden too!

Wet & Wild in the Garden 

Monday, June 9 - Friday, June 13, 8.00 - 9:00 a.m. Marana Community Garden.  $50/family Marana resident ($62.50/family non-Marana resident). Registration link coming soon!

If your family gets up with the sun, summer mornings start EARLY.  Bring your restless kids out to the Marana Community Garden to care for plants, find wild critters, and play imaginative games.  Every session uses water play to help keep us cool.  Activities include squirting plants and people, investigating mud and worms, seeking habitat for birds and kids, and planting and snacking on garden goodies.  Take home new ideas for exploring your own backyard too!
